Description

Reproduction - "16x18" - 18th century (1776) "Map of the Maritime Parts of Virginia Exhibiting the Seat of War and of Lord Dunmore's depredations in that Colony" (Tidewater, Virginia). The map is drawn showing the length of the Chesapeake Bay from the Patowmack River to New Point Comfort to Cape Charles and Cape Henry. Black on buff colored background, printed on Swiss Fine Art canvas with Hewlett Packard inks. The piece is gallery framed without a 3/4" black ash wood gallery frame surrounding the image. The piece is ready to hang with framing wire attached to the back left and right sides of the piece. The reproduction was produced from a digital image of the engraving at the Library of Congress' Prints and Photographs Division in Washington, D.C. I sell reproduction 19th and 20th century black and white and sepia photographs, and 19th century color engravings. Each print is produced by custom printing the images sharply and clearly on Sihl (Swiss Fine Art) canvas. I have outfitted corporate offices, local business, lobbying firms and residences. Thanks for visiting! Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground.
